American Conference Institute Rip Off - Conference Producer/Legal Conference Producer Job Work Scam- Benjamin Greenzweig, Stephanie Butler, Kenneth Horton
American Conference Institute seems to be running an unusual scam. They repeatedly relist positions for "conference producer" and "legal conference producer" with seemingly little or no intention of filling the position - how do I know? I was unfortunately duped by them and have met at least two other law school grads who were as well.
The American Conference Institute Scam works like this-
You respond to their job posting seeking a conference producer or legal conference producer that they flood on the major job boards. Kenneth Horton or Stephanie Butler will bring you in for a group interview with up to three other people up for the same position - that alone should have set off alarms -this is supposed to be an executive-level position, who does a group cutco style interview? They will tell you this is an exciting opportunity for an "alternative" legal career - meaning most of the people there could not hack it in practice or could not pass the NY bar exam. Anyway, they will give you a considerable "conference producer" work assignment that you are expected to put alot of time into - they give you 10 days. They put on legal conferences and tell you they want to make sure you can handle the written work. They will tell each of you to do a one day conference mock up (they usually have three day legal conferences) and turn it in. They will then call you back for a follow-up interview in which you basically give them your contacts list and other information. Then you are unlikely to here from them.
I do not care that I did not get the position but neither did the other people there whom I later spoke to. The listing has been relisted on the job boards for MONTHS - could it really take that long to fill a non-lawyer position - the answer is a definitive NO. So exactly what is the point of them having you do 20-30 hours of free research. Gee, three people doing a one day mock-up equals a three day conference for free for them lol. It is shameful they would do this to people in such a don economy but what do you expect.
American Conference Institute or ACI basically survives by fleecing attorneys for exhorbitant fees for legal credits. I guess those that can't do teach, and those that can't teach live off practicing attorneys. Benjamin Greenzweig, the "managing director" of a "legal think tank" is himself not a licensed attorney - ding ding - bells again, highly odd. There is nothing worse than someone who dresses like, speaks like, and practically holds themselves out as counsel - but they never went to law school.
Don't fall for the American Conference Institute conference producer/legal conference producer scam unless you want to just give them alot of free work product.

SEO - SE NO!
ORANGE SODA SCAM
So now that we are on the 1st page of yahoo for "college papers" and "college essay help" (obviously if you know anything you know it fluctuates a little)we hired Orange Soda - An outfit based out of Utah. Well, they have a pretty good sales pitch and promised us the world. We made it clear that our only concerns were links and branding. Months later we have yet to see ONE single, active link from any sites nor any related services of any value. We Have paid several hundred dollars to receive form letters. We originally thought they could help us but were choosing not to - we now conclude it is really sales driven seo with little to back it up. A quick search on rip-off report unearthed others who have had a similar experience. We can only talk to the "sales" people who relay our messages to the seo team - really? Why can I pay hundreds and not talk to someone who DOES the seo - could it be they are worried someone who actually knonws a smidgen about seo would know they ARE ALL SMOKE AND MIRRORS. We are a paper writing outfit - when you pay we put you on with a writer. Why would an SEO outfit not let you talk to someone except a salesperson who is lax in getting back to you. Bottom line - WE wwould rather keep sending money to India because Orange Soda Scam is just that - a scam.

San Francisco Zoo Tiger Escape and Attack
Well, it looks like the tiger that escaped his enclosure at the San Francisco Zoo may have had "help." A shoe has been found inside the no-man's land between the small fence and the larger fence and moat. Police are now speculating that the three people, one of whom was killed, may have been taunting or even trying to help the tiger escape its enclosure. My grandma used to say be careful what you wish for.
Whether these geniuses' idea was to cause mayhem upon innocent people by loosing a dangerous tiger, or they were trying to taunt it in their festive stupor, is really a moot point. Sometimes people don't realize what they are doing until they become a candidate for a Darwin Award. I can only imagine how very quickly they sobered up when their "friend" was finally "freed" and was not only not appreciative but darn right rude.
Many people are now questioning whether or not the right safeguards are in place to protect people from these wild animals that are capable of such horror. This is indeed a valid question that has been and is being considered. I think an equally pressing question now is whether the powers that be need to consider if the animals are adequately protected from humans. If the animals are going to be locked in they cannot be made subject to potential unchecked taunting or abuse. Neither can we any longer expect the posted warning signs to keep everyone out. Yet, if someone is not confident that climbing into or dangling above a tiger cage is a pretty crazy and dangerous thing, and needs to check it out for themselves, well maybe that is just natural selection.

In-Class Essay Tips
If you have an in-class essay exam you may naturally feel a bit nervous. After all, it is not easy to produce a reasonably well put together essay in 45 minutes- 2 hours unless you have some kind of game plan. So where do you start?
One thing to keep in mind is the parameters of your in-class essay exam and try to use them to your advantage. A good example of this is that some professors allow you to bring in your own notes or research into the exam. The "assignment" is to then construct an "in-class essay" during the 45 minutes to 2 hours they have alloted for the essay exam.
What you should realize if you haven't already, is that your teacher has allowed you an easy out. You can simply draft your in-class essay at home and then re-write it in the exam book. You should probably hand-write it in note-form so it does not look to the casual observer like you have it done. Be sure to look like you are thinking hard and watching the clock like the other suckers.
So, your teacher limited the materials that you can bring into your in-class essay to your text book. No problem! Simply write it in the margins of the pages so it looks like notes. It may take you 15 pages of margin notes to fit the essay but this has the added effect of making it look like you are looking through the book as you write your in-class essay.

Best College Papers Online
Well, it's getting pretty busy here because every college student waits until the last minute to start their work. Procrastination is never an answer and tends to only make the problem worse. It seems that if you consistently provide some of the best college papers online, college students actually become regular clients and spread the positive buzz. What is the secret to getting a job done on time? Simply put, it is planning.
You should always have a game plan outlined before you start work on your college paper. Sometimes it is enough to merely pick a topic and break it down into 4 or 5 smaller subtopics that you know you will have to discuss. Now you can write a page or two explaining and discussing each subtopic and before you know it you have a 5 or 10 page paper. Once you have it broken down this way before you start you will also notice that the task before you seems less daunting - this is a good thing.
Keep in mind that time management is a very important part of writing college papers. If you wait until the last few days, your efforts may appear hurried and incomplete. Naturally, your grade may ultimately reflect this. On the other hand, if you take a little time to structure your paper and create a functional outline, you will end up with the best college term papers.

Tips for Last Minute Essay Writing
So, the due date for your college term paper is quickly approaching and you haven't even begun your work. Welcome to the world of last-minute essay writing. We have become quite adept at this as it is one of the things we do best at BPapers. When it's too late for you to get it done on time -- that is where we step in. What do you do if you do decide to go it alone? Well, you could crawl under your bed and sulk or you can get off your butt and get going. One of the best college term paper tips that you can get is to simply stop stressing and start working. The longer you procrastinate the harder your job will ultimately be and the more thrown together your work will appear.
If you have already picked an essay topic, the best thing to do when there is very limited time is to look for resources online. Often, you can limit your research time by benefiting from the work of others. Look at works written on the same subject to find resources and citations. If you find a book or article that examines the same subject, you can take a close look at the sources that are cited. You may be able to simply use some of the same sources without really even having access to them. For example, if you are doing a college paper on the growth of major corporations in the twentieth century, and you find a book on the subject online, you can look at the author's sources and incorporate some of them into your work. Meaning, if in chapter 5 the book's author discusses the rise of the "fast food nation" in America, you can see what he cites in relation to this specific subtopic. When you make a point about this subject, you too can now cite that source fairly accurately without ever reading the source material. That is a pretty killer college term paper tip or trick depending upon your perspective.
In reality, that is really what writing your college term paper is all about - getting the most return on the amount of time that you put into your work. Sometimes taking a shortcut is not only okay, but quite beneficial to your work and ultimately to your grade.
