Term Paper Scam Sites
While there are several legitimate essay writing services online, there are also many scam sites. How can you tell if a website is a scam essay site? There are actually several indicators that you can look for:
1. Does the company offer to provide essay writing at a ridiculously low rate. In this day and age, the truth is that you do get what you pay for to a degree. While reputable companies' rates can vary anywhere from the 15-25 dollar range, a service that purports to give you a paper for seven to ten dollars a page cannot be employing real writers. Do the math.
2. Do you find a lot of errors on the website? This means that they cannot even write their own copy so you damn sure do not want them working on yours.
3. Do they claim to have won fictitious awards. Some sites put up images of trophies that don't link anywhere, claiming great industry "awards." The only award they're winning is the foreign scam site award.
4. Can you talk to someone knowledgeable on the phone? If they have a room (well 150+ professors must be a hotel) full of professors why can't any of them talk to you about your Romeo and Juliet essay or your Sociology paper? Maybe they are make-believe, like the paper they will eventually sell you.
5. Do they try to push you to pay before you talk to anyone? If the site is solely geared to you filling out an online form and getting back a paper - good luck. The reason that they want you to fill out the form and send money is that once they have your money they can often give you a previously purchased paper and you can hope it works - again, good luck.
If you follow the suggestions above you are far less likely to be ripped of by an essay writing service. Don't send money until you are put in contact with someone that you believe can write your sample college term paper.
